Torch on (Modified Bitumen) Waterproofing Membranes

Torch-on membrane is a BRANZ appraised, modified bitumen membrane system.

It is designed for the most challenging of above and below-ground waterproofing applications.

Torch-on membrane is appropriate for waterproofing low-slope roofs, underground tanking, and between concrete slabs.

Each layer of its double layer system is torched on.
The heat maximises the seal to the most intricate and vulnerable areas for leaks such as roof penetrations, internal corners and gutter junctions.

The double layer system consists of the 3mm "base" sheet (an APP asphalt based membrane) followed by an attractive 4mm mineral-chip "cap" sheet available in black and grey as our most called-for colours, and other colours at the customer's request.
The double-layer system also protects the roof from harsh UV, ozone, rot and puncturing.

When installed in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications this membrane is performance warranted to remain waterproof for up to the first 20 years of an indefinite service life.

A full product warranty is issued on completion, together with a workmanship warranty from the approved applicator.

The Self-Adhered waterproofing system provides building owners with added waterproofing security by having the waterproofing membrane bonded directly to the structural concrete deck while increasing installation productivity for waterproofing contractors.

This system is an excellent choice for intensive and extensive green roofs and plaza decks receiving landscaping, pavers or concrete overburden. It can also be used in split slab parking decks, planters, tunnels, balconies and terrace applications.

The flexible foam backing layer conforms around minor irregularities in the substrate and provides a cushion for the waterproofing membrane.
It also acts as a barrier to protect the G476 membrane from existing substrate contaminants such as asphalt. The pressure sensitive adhesive provides a tenacious bond between the membrane composite and substrate to mitigate potential water migration under the sheet.
